The Westboro Baptist Church are liars. According to their website, it is currently copyrighted. It is not. The Westboro Baptist Church currently holds no copyrights on any of their materials. Now that doesn't really matter because their disclaimer says "You may use any of our material free of charge for any reason". That's not out of their nicety, its just so you don't actually try to find if they hold any copyrights. Which again they don't... liars.

Now on to my original point. To all of you who are fans of buying domain names, do so in the following category: www.godhates(fill in the blank with a country).com

The WBC currently has a website at www.godhatestheworld.com that has a really nifty flash map that direct you to sites with an explaination of why exactly god hates that country. By buying up all the websites, we can force them to have to use subdomains, lessening their grip on the internet. Direct them to whatever you want (like my blog for example). Unfortunately they have swallowed up a majority of the major nations (like america, canada, russia) but:

The Isle of Man (you would have thought they would be all over that one)

This is not a comprehensive list but you get my point. Also consider getting sites like

or the like. Im sure as president elect obama becomes more friendly with the UN, they will consider them guilty by association.

And because the WBC holds no actual copyright on the phrase "God Hates ________", they cannot claim that they are entitled to it. Trust me, I know a thing or two about this. My domain is at the beck an call of Colgate. If they wanted it (which I did offer it to them without naming a price) they could probably sweep in and take it (allegedly).
